On June
24, 2008, Irvin S. Naylor retired as Vice Chairman of the Board of The York
Water Company pursuant to the Company’s mandatory retirement
policy. Mr. Naylor had been a director of the Company for 48 years,
starting in October 1960. Mr. Naylor has been designated as a
Director Emeritus. Jeffrey R. Hines, President and CEO of York Water,
was previously named as a director in anticipation of Mr. Naylor’s
retirement.
