Item 5.02 (e) Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On August 29, 2016, the Board of Directors of WidePoint Corporation (the “Company”), upon the recommendation of the Company’s Compensation Committee, exercised the Company’s option to extend the employment agreement of Steve L. Komar, the Company’s Chief Executive Officer, from September 30, 2016 until December 31, 2016. There were no other changes to Mr. Komar’s employment agreement as a result of the extension.
