Item 8.01 Other Events
On September 28, 2007, The Finish Line, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has filed an answer, counterclaim and third-party claim for declaratory judgment in connection with the previously announced action pending in the Chancery Court in Nashville, Tennessee regarding the Company’s proposed acquisition of Genesco Inc. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
