On May 4, 2010, Radian Group Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of up to $550 million of its common stock, $0.001 par value (the “Common Stock”), with an underwriters’ option to purchase up to an additional 15%, or $82.5 million, of Common Stock solely to cover over-allotments, if any. A copy of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
