On October 26, 2006, Columbia Sportswear Company issued a press release reporting its
third quarter financial results. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit
99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On October 26, 2006, the Company issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors
has authorized the initiation of a quarterly cash dividend and that the Company declared a
quarterly dividend of $0.14 per share of common stock to be paid on November 30, 2006 to its
shareholders of record on November 16, 2006. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
