Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 12, 2007, Kaiser Aluminum Corporation announced that its Board of Directors
declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.18 per share. The dividend will be
payable on November 16, 2007 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on October 26,
2007. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by
reference.
