Item 8.01 Other Events.
Chesapeake Exploration Limited Partnership, Chesapeake Louisiana, L.P. and Chesapeake Zapata, L.P. (collectively, the "counterparty"), each a wholly owned subsidiary of Chesapeake Energy Corporation, entered into an international Swaps & Derivatives Association, Inc. ("ISDA") Master Agreement with J. Aron & Company on May 18, 2005. The ISDA Master Agreement, Schedule to the ISDA Master Agreement and Credit Support Annex to the Schedule to the ISDA Master Agreement are filed as Exhibits 99.1, 99.2 and 99.3 to this current report on Form 8-K.
