Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

At its January 30, 2014 meeting, the Board of Directors of Middlesex Water Company (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.19 per common share payable on March 3, 2014 for shareholders of record as of February 14, 2014. A copy of the press release announcing the dividend declaration is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Form 8-K by reference.
