Section 7 – Regulation FD

Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On May 30, 2014, Standard & Poor's Rating Services lowered its corporate credit rating on PPL Energy Supply, LLC ("PPL Energy Supply"), a wholly owned subsidiary of PPL Corporation ("PPL"), from BBB to BB+ with a stable outlook.  PPL does not expect the downgrade to have a material effect on PPL Energy Supply's financial condition and results of operations.  Consequently, PPL is affirming its forecast of 2014 reported earnings of $1.84 to $1.99 per share and forecast of 2014 ongoing earnings of $2.15 to $2.30 per share.
