Item 5. Other Events.
On March 12, 2004 Centex Corporation announced the completion of a previously announced two-for-one stock split in the form of a 100 percent stock dividend to its stockholders of record as of February 29, 2004. A copy of the Corporation’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference.
