Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK), a leading global real estate services firm, has ranked fourth in the Top Ten 2024 Military Friendly® Employers with revenue over $5 billion for its meaningful efforts to recruit, retain and develop veteran talent in the U.S. The firm has now been recognized as a Military Friendly® Employer for six consecutive years.

The firm was also named a Top Ten Military Friendly® Spouse Employer, ranking eighth for 2024, recognizing the firm’s commitment to helping military spouse employees have fulfilling careers. Additionally, the firm was named as a Veteran-Friendly company from U.S. Veteran’s Magazine and received a 5-star ranking from Vet Indexes.

Military Friendly® is the standard that measures an organization’s commitment, effort and success in creating sustainable and meaningful benefits for the community of active duty, reserves, guard, veterans and their spouses. Organizations that exceed standards are recognized as part of the Top 10, Gold, Silver or Bronze in categories based on revenue.

“We are thrilled to once again receive the prestigious Military Friendly Employer award, a testament to our unwavering commitment to veterans and their valuable contributions,” said Andrew McDonald, Global President and COO. “At Cushman & Wakefield, we take immense pride in our diverse team of dedicated professionals, especially our veteran colleagues whose unique skills and leadership acumen seamlessly translate into value-add contributions for the corporate world, enabling them to play a crucial role across our business.”

“Through their remarkable leadership, collaborative spirit, adaptability and problem-solving prowess, veterans play a pivotal role in our continued success,” said Bruce Mosler, Chairman of Global Brokerage. “Their skills and expertise are vital to our operations, and we’re proud to provide a platform where they can contribute significantly to our corporate mission and make a substantial impact. This award reaffirms our dedication to honoring and supporting the military and veteran community not just on Veterans Day, but every single day."

Cushman & Wakefield’s Military & Veterans Program—led by Matt Disher, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps—encompasses several initiatives to recruit, retain and develop military and veteran talent. Most recently, the firm joined the Department of Defense’s Military Spouse Employment Partnership program, which connects military spouses with partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses.

Beyond talent, the team also shares best practices with community partners, clients and other businesses interested in participating in these essential programs. In the past years, the Military and Veterans Program team has advised over 100 companies on best practices for building military and veterans programs.

“Organizations earning the Military Friendly Employers designation have wholeheartedly invested in comprehensive and impactful initiatives that bring about positive, life-changing results for our valued service members, dedicated military spouses, and esteemed veterans within their ranks,” said Kayla Lopez, Director of Military Partnerships, Military Friendly®.

“We salute these exemplary employers who raise the bar and understand that hiring military personnel is not merely an act of goodwill but a testament to a standard that truly embodies sound business wisdom. Their steadfast commitment to integrating military personnel into their workforce not only reflects their compassion but also underscores their business acumen,” she added.

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® Employer designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. Over 1,000 companies participated in the 2024 Military Friendly® survey.
