The Stable Road Foundation, along with its founder and chairman Ed Freedman, is proud to announce its nomination for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2023 Nonprofit & Corporate Citizenship Award.
Founded in 1979, the Los Angeles Business Journal has a long-established reputation as one of the region’s leading advocates for results-driven philanthropy and responsible corporate governance. Its annual awards recognize the most innovative and impactful nonprofits and founders in the greater Los Angeles area.

Stable Road Foundation works with a wide variety of organizations both in Los Angeles and around the world. The Foundation’s partnership with THERAsurf—a Los Angeles-based collective of professional surfers who help children with special needs learn to surf and experience the healing power of the ocean—was of particular interest to the Los Angeles Business Journal when considering the Foundation’s nomination.
