AEye to Showcase One Kilometer Long-Range Apollo Lidar and OPTIS™ Physical AI Solutions at CES 2026 with Live Demonstrations and a Preview of AEye’s Next Generation of Ultra-Long-Range Sensing

AEye, Inc. (Nasdaq: LIDR), a global leader in software-defined lidar solutions, and the manufacturer of the Apollo lidar sensor, today announced that it will demonstrate the Apollo long-range sensing solution at CES 2026 from January 6 – 9, 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, West Hall, Booth No. 3311.

AEye will feature live demonstrations of its Apollo lidar sensor, a software-defined, long-range solution capable of detecting objects at distances of up to one kilometer in a compact form factor that allows for behind-the-windshield integration. In addition to these automotive-focused demonstrations, AEye will highlight how Apollo and the company’s OPTIS™ full stack solution can be applied to smart infrastructure and logistics use cases. OPTIS™ combines AEye’s Apollo lidar with advanced computing to deliver real-time 3D perception and analytics for drones, intelligent intersections, shipping corridors, logistics hubs, and other complex environments, helping customers improve safety, efficiency, and operational visibility.

“CES brings together the most important players in transportation and mobility, making it an ideal venue for us to demonstrate how Apollo and OPTIS™ are redefining what’s possible with lidar,” said Matt Fisch, CEO of AEye. “With unmatched range and real-time AI-driven perception, we’re helping our customers tackle complex transportation and infrastructure challenges with scalable solutions built for real-world deployment. We are also looking forward to announcing our next-generation lidar, with range capabilities extending beyond one kilometer, underscoring the company’s continued leadership in long-range and ultra-long-range perception.”
