Operator Celebrates with Deep Discounts, Local Nonprofit Partnership, Adopting Local Families in Need for the Holiday Season, and Grand Openings Across the State
Mint Cannabis, one of the nation’s fastest-growing cannabis operators known for its focus on wellness, innovation, and community engagement, is now making its debut in the Sunshine State. During the next few months, the Mint will celebrate the grand openings of 18 new medical dispensaries across Florida, marking a major milestone in the company’s expansion and its ongoing commitment to serving patients and local communities alike.
Thirteen new Mint Cannabis dispensaries are currently open in Bonita Springs, Bradenton, Brandon, Cape Coral, Delray Beach, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Longwood, Melbourne, Orlando, St. Augustine, Sarasota, and Stuart. Five additional dispensaries, in Homosassa, Madison, Miami, Spring Hill, and Riverview will open in the coming months. The Mint team also anticipates opening several additional dispensaries in Florida by the end of 2026.
“Florida represents an exciting new chapter for the Mint, and we’re proud to plant roots in cities across the state,” said Rudy Molina, VP of Operations for Mint Cannabis. “Our focus has always been on building meaningful relationships in the communities we serve, through local hiring, community support, and education that helps patients make informed wellness choices.”
Mint Cannabis is in the process of adding new brands to the Florida market. Mint has already introduced superior-quality, indoor-grown flower with brand-new strains; innovative, new all-in-one vaporizers; and edibles. Mint Cannabis’ products currently include flower by Shango, a California-based cultivator, which is brand-new to the Florida market. During the next few months, Mint Cannabis will introduce several new brands to its stores and Florida customers.
To celebrate its Florida debut, Mint Cannabis is offering one of the deepest new patient discounts in the state – 60% off the first visit; 60% off the second visit (up to $180 off); and 60% off the third visit (up to $100 off). SNAP program recipients can also layer on an additional 20% discount on all purchases, through December 2025. Bulk discounts are also available so that patients can stock up on their medicine.
Returning patients can also qualify for additional daily discounts at Mint Cannabis. For example, Veterans and their spouses receive a 44% discount; patients ages 55 and better receive a 25% discount; students receive a 25% discount; and Medicaid and Medicare recipients receive a 25% discount. Mint Cannabis also gives patients a free pre-roll on their birthday and $75 off $150 toward a patient’s medical card renewal (ask one of Mint Cannabis’ associates in-store for terms and conditions).
Knowing that December is Seasonal Depression Month, Mint Cannabis will donate $1 from each all-in-one vaporizers sold now through Jan. 31, 2026 at its Florida dispensaries to the local chapters of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Additionally, the operator plans to adopt local families in need, in each of the cities in which it operates, to help make their holidays a little bit brighter.
The launch of Mint Cannabis in Florida will create hundreds of new jobs statewide, ranging from patient care specialists and retail associates to logistics and cultivation professionals. Each dispensary will be staffed by trained, knowledgeable team members who share the company’s mission to make cannabis care approachable, transparent, and community-driven.
Florida’s cannabis industry continues to show record-breaking growth, with more than 880,000 registered patients statewide, making it one of the nation’s fastest-growing medical programs. The Mint’s entry into this dynamic market underscores the company’s commitment to responsible expansion while maintaining a hyperlocal focus on education, accessibility, and wellness outcomes for patients across Florida.
From Miami to Jacksonville and from Sarasota to Gainesville, the Mint has intentionally selected its dispensary locations to serve patients across Florida’s largest metropolitan regions and growing communities. The Mint team will also coordinate local partnerships, outreach programs, and statewide education efforts to ensure a consistent, high-quality experience for patients throughout Florida.
In every community it enters, the Mint prioritizes local hiring, community partnerships, and charitable involvement. The company plans to collaborate with Veterans organizations, small businesses, and local nonprofits across Florida to help stimulate economic growth and promote wellness education. These initiatives reflect Mint Cannabis’ long-standing philosophy that responsible cannabis operations can help to lift communities socially, economically, and through compassionate care.
Each Mint Cannabis dispensary offers a welcoming, patient-first environment with a wide range of premium cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, and topicals. The company’s approach centers on making high-quality cannabis accessible while fostering local partnerships and community well-being.
