Building on this important work, Dr. Meehan has been selected to present at the American Association of Hip & Knee Surgeons Annual Meeting in Dallas, Texas, this October. His presentation will focus on the power of free molecular iodine and unveil new data on the most effective methods for diluting povidone-iodine to achieve optimal levels of free molecular iodine – the only component in iodine formulations with the capability to reduce surgical site infections, which is especially valuable when used for intraoperative irrigation.
