Dave Van Steenis is named President of ExchangeRight Real Estate

Van Steenis has over 18 years of experience in the financial services and commercial real estate industries, serving more than 10 years with ExchangeRight. As chief financial officer and chief investment officer at ExchangeRight, Van Steenis has directly guided vital growth and efficiencies across the company’s investment strategy and processes including sourcing, analysis, acquisitions, financing, legal, syndication, asset management, and financial reporting.

Prior to joining ExchangeRight, Van Steenis served with Kaufman Jacobs Real Estate Investments, where he was primarily focused on acquisitions and financial reporting for their real estate private equity business. He began his career with KPMG in the financial services audit practice, working with both private and public banking and investment management clients. He graduated from Trinity Christian College with highest honors, with a B.S. in accounting and a finance concentration. Van Steenis is a CPA and a CFA charterholder.
