GrayRobinson is pleased to announce the expansion of its Fort Myers office with the addition of a seasoned team of attorneys joining the firm’s Litigation Section, including Jack C. Morgan III, Scott Hertz, John B. Gallagher, and Morgan E. Williamson.

Morgan is a commercial litigator with a practice concentrated on high-stakes business, labor and employment, real estate, probate, and construction disputes.
Morgan represents a broad client base, including multinational companies, regional and local businesses, contractors, real estate developers, universities, and individuals in the entertainment and professional sports industries, in complex matters before state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and in arbitration. He currently serves as president of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Southwest Florida Chapter.
He is admitted to practice in Florida and Georgia and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. Morgan earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Valdosta State University.
Hertz focuses his litigation practice on construction, commercial, and real estate disputes. He represents businesses, associations, and individuals in matters before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, city councils, planning and zoning boards, and licensing authorities.
Hertz advises clients on land use, permitting, ordinance matters, corporate governance, and business agreements, and has played a leading role in crafting and lobbying for legislative changes affecting municipalities and the construction industry. He is licensed as both a general contractor and realtor in Florida and serves as general counsel for the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association.
He is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. Hertz earned his Juris Doctor from Ave Maria School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Florida International University.
Gallagher brings more than four decades of experience representing businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation and high-stakes corporate matters, with an emphasis on construction law, employment class actions, and insurance defense. He also advises on business transactions, governance, and restructuring, drawing on his experience as president of multiple successful corporations, including a NASDAQ-listed multinational company.
Gallagher’s experience includes serving as class action counsel in precedent-setting Florida minimum wage litigation, handling high-exposure construction defect disputes, and managing complex insurance defense cases.
He is admitted to practice in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. Gallagher earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida (UF) Levin College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from UF.
Morgan E. Williamson, Associate
Williamson focuses her practice on business and civil litigation, representing clients in dispute resolution and other legal matters.
Williamson has built a strong foundation in legal research, discovery strategy, and motion drafting, stemming from her start in commercial litigation.
She is admitted to practice in Florida. Williamson earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Mercer University. She is an active member of the Calusa Inn of Court and Lee County Bar Association.
