Navy Federal Credit Union announced today that it received an overall customer satisfaction score of 768 on a 1,000‑point scale in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Automotive Financing Satisfaction StudySM, ranking highest among both ranked and non‑ranked mass‑market lenders.*
The J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Automotive Financing Satisfaction Study measures overall customer satisfaction with auto financing providers across 8 core dimensions (in order of importance): level of trust with provider; loan or lease offering met needs; experience managing loan or lease; keeps me informed about loan or lease; experience obtaining loan or lease; makes it easy to do business with; digital channels–website, mobile apps; and people–representatives, call center agents.
“Our members trust us during some of life’s most important financial moments, and we take that responsibility seriously,” said Kevin Wince, Vice President of Consumer Lending Operations at Navy Federal Credit Union.
The recognition highlights the credit union’s continued commitment to delivering a high‑quality, member‑first auto financing experience. It also marks the fifth consecutive year that Navy Federal has earned a top score in the study. The results further demonstrate the credit union’s ongoing focus on enhancing every stage of the auto lending journey, from application through loan servicing.
“Being recognized by J.D. Power underscores our commitment to putting members first and demonstrates our dedication to delivering a dependable, simple and transparent auto lending experience,” Wince added. “We focus on providing the products, service and guidance our members need to make confident, informed financial decisions.”
Navy Federal’s notable service extends far beyond closing. Members receive continued support throughout the life of their loan, with access to knowledgeable representatives, digital tools and resources designed to help them manage their finances with confidence.
In addition, Navy Federal ranks No. 1 for banks in Newsweek’s 2025 Most Trustworthy Companies in America and received a high ranking in PEOPLE’s Magazine’s 2025 Companies That Care®, underscoring the credit union’s commitment to earning member trust and delivering meaningful, people‑first service.
*Navy Federal Credit Union is not rank-eligible because it does not meet the study award criteria.
