Ann Arbor, MI - In recognition of Cancer Prevention Month, AgelessRx, a leading longevity platform dedicated to empowering individuals to take proactive control of their health, announces expanded access to the Galleri® Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test - a groundbreaking blood-based screening tool capable of screening for a signal of more than 50 types of cancer before symptoms appear.
Cancer remains one of the world’s most significant health challenges. While routine cancer screenings exist for several common cancers, many deadly cancers - such as pancreatic and ovarian - lack routine screening options. With early detection cited as one of the most effective ways to improve outcomes, AgelessRx’s enhanced access initiative aims to help patients screen for cancer earlier, when interventions are most likely to be effective.
Bringing Cutting-Edge Multi-Cancer Screening to More Patients
The Galleri test is a simple blood draw that screens for a cancer signal by analyzing DNA fragments shed into the bloodstream by cancer cells - offering a single test capable of detecting a signal for more than 50 cancer types. It works by identifying unique methylation patterns in cell-free DNA that are associated with cancer, providing clinicians and patients with potential insight into the presence and likely origin of cancer signals.
AgelessRx’s approach includes:
- Online consultation with a licensed healthcare provider to determine eligibility and medical appropriateness.
- Convenient at-home ordering and mailing of the Galleri blood collection kit sent directly to patients.
- Local laboratory blood draw scheduling at nearby Quest facilities.
- Comprehensive results delivery and support from clinicians for interpretation and next steps.
Why Early Detection Matters
Early cancer detection substantially improves the likelihood of successful treatment and long-term survival. Many cancers do not produce noticeable symptoms in early stages, leading to diagnoses at more advanced, harder-to-treat stages. As AgelessRx highlights in its educational content, proactive testing - even when individuals feel healthy - can change lives by catching disease sooner rather than later.
Research shows that traditional cancer screening tests typically focus on the most common cancers while leaving gaps in detection for many others. Multi-cancer early detection (MCED) tests like Galleri are designed to complement traditional screening approaches that can screen for cancers before they become symptomatic, including those that don’t have recommended screening tests today.
Supporting Patients Nationwide with Accessible Solutions
AgelessRx’s initiative for Cancer Prevention Month reinforces the company’s broader mission: to make high-impact, scientifically advanced health tools more accessible and understandable for patients seeking longevity and wellness solutions.
Key aspects of AgelessRx’s commitment to accessibility include:
- Virtual medical evaluation and personalized guidance tailored to individual health needs.
- Streamlined ordering process that removes unnecessary barriers to obtaining tests like the multi-cancer screening.
- Patient education resources, including blogs about the impact of early cancer detection and the impact of cancer on aging.
As Cancer Prevention Month brings renewed focus to the importance of early action, AgelessRx continues its commitment to helping individuals take meaningful steps toward longer, healthier lives. By expanding access to advanced multi-cancer screening, the platform reinforces its belief that prevention, awareness, and informed decision-making play a critical role in improving long-term health outcomes. Important Galleri Safety Information
The Galleri test is recommended for use in adults with an elevated risk for cancer, such as those age 50 or older. The test does not detect all cancers and should be used in addition to routine cancer screening tests recommended by a healthcare provider. The Galleri test is intended to detect cancer signals and predict where in the body the cancer signal is located. Use of the test is not recommended in individuals who are pregnant, 21 years old or younger, or undergoing active cancer treatment.
Results should be interpreted by a healthcare provider in the context of medical history, clinical signs, and symptoms. A test result of No Cancer Signal Detected does not rule out cancer. A test result of Cancer Signal Detected requires confirmatory diagnostic evaluation by medically established procedures (e.g., imaging) to confirm cancer.
If cancer is not confirmed with further testing, it could mean that cancer is not present or testing was insufficient to detect cancer, including due to the cancer being located in a different part of the body. False positive (a cancer signal detected when cancer is not present) and false negative (a cancer signal not detected when cancer is present) test results do occur. Rx only.
Laboratory/Test Information
The GRAIL clinical laboratory is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) and accredited by the College of American Pathologists. The Galleri test was developed - and its performance characteristics were determined - by GRAIL. The Galleri test has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration. The GRAIL clinical laboratory is regulated under CLIA to perform high-complexity testing. The Galleri test is intended for clinical purposes.
