MY I.D., a skincare brand dedicated to combatting human trafficking and helping those who have been affected by this crime, has compiled a database of nonprofit organizations that website visitors can reference in order to find local charities they would like to support.

The publication of this comprehensive database coincides with Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Throughout the month of January, MY I.D. and non-profit organizations across the United States are making efforts to raise awareness about human trafficking. According to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, human trafficking is defined under U.S. law as "the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person into commercial sex acts or labor or services against his or her will." The hotline's website further states that this is a "multi-billion dollar criminal industry that denies freedom to 24.9 million people around the world."

MY I.D. Founder Judy Lee said that making an organized database of charities accessible through MY I.D. was an important step in helping to connect donors with non-profit organizations nationwide. It serves as yet another way for her skincare brand to educate and empower customers who want to unite in the fight against human trafficking.

The comprehensive online database can be found by clicking on the Resources tab on MY I.D.'s official website at mission.myid.life. More than 400 organizations appear on the list. Charities are organized by state. Each listing includes a website link, as well as information about the organization's mission, accomplishments, and ongoing needs.

MY I.D. was founded with the purpose of selling naturally and sustainably sourced skincare and donating profits to organizations fighting modern slavery. The brand's skincare line features high-quality ingredients such as miracle fruit, a berry known for its antioxidant properties. Donating their profits allows MY I.D. to raise awareness, aid survivors, and be part of an important social justice movement.

"MY I.D. remains committed to our mission, especially as more people fall victim to the heinous crime of human trafficking, particularly in our brand's home state of Arizona" - Judy Lee, Founder.

Non-profit organizations fighting human trafficking are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and supporting survivors. By doing so, survivors are given a chance to re-enter society and go about their lives with their hopes, dreams, and dignity restored. Lee and her team have established partnerships with non-profit organizations nationwide and continue to foster strong and transparent relationships with them.

Since the brand's inception, MY I.D. has donated more than $90,000 to its non-profit partners, including Phoenix Dream Center, Streetlight USA, and Rescue Her. These organizations relocate survivors, as well as provide therapy, education, and other resources that make them feel safe and supported.
