Nike (NYSE:NKE) said late Wednesday that its fiscal fourth-quarter profit jumped 53%, helped by gains in China and other emerging markets. Net income rose to $521.9 million, or $1.06 a share, from $341.4 million, or 70 cents, a year earlier, when it had $145 million in restructuring charges. Sales in the quarter ended May 31 rose 8% to $5.08 billion. Analysts had been expecting earnings of $1.05 a share on sales of $5.13 billion.
