Stocks Open Slightly Higher; BofA Slides

Stocks opened slightly higher Tuesday even after a tepid Case-Shiller home price index report and following a sharp rally that sent the S&P 500 to its best level in almost four years, propelled by comments from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke.
