Bowflex BodyTower ™ Raises the Bar on Home Fitness

April 9, 2012—Nautilus, Inc. (NYSE: NLS) Bowflex ®, the expert in at-home fitness equipment, adds to its popular line of home gyms and cardio equipment with the release of a new strength machine: the Bowflex BodyTower™.

“Bowflex has never done anything like this before,” says Nathan Roe, Director of Marketing. “The BodyTower uniquely focuses on strength training through muscle stability using body weight. And, we’re doing it at a value price point.”

The tower, designed with a wide base for stability, is the first strength machine released in more than 5 years by Nautilus, Inc., and features the innovative EZ-adjust horizontal bar. This moveable bar can be secured into multiple slots along the tower to create 3x the exercises of standard towers. This original feature lets the consumer choose the intensity and variety of the workout to target legs, chest, triceps and core muscles. Rather than require weighted plates or rods, Nautilus created the tower to use body weight and muscle stability to build strength.

“We wanted to incorporate the versatility of the Bowflex brand into a ‘body weight’ exercise tower,” adds Bryce Baker, BodyTower designer and engineer. “The EZ-adjust bar takes an ordinary tower and turns it into a truly new and more effective machine.” The tower also comes with handgrips and sling straps to isolate abdominal muscles, and a mounted workout placard that demonstrates 8 key exercises.

The BodyTower is available exclusively from online retail partners and from www.bowflexcatalog.com. For more information, visit: www.bowflexbodytower.com
