Evans Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVBN) announced today that its wholly-owned community bank, Evans National Bank, appointed Cynthia M. Rich as senior vice president, community banking executive. Ms. Rich will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Bank’s consumer banking operations to include its distribution channels, sales and marketing. In addition, she will oversee the expansion of the Bank’s branch network, service initiatives, product development and performance metrics.
Ms. Rich’s extensive financial services career spans 20 years with M&T Bank. While there, she served as vice president and manager of Retail Deposit Products, Delivery Systems, and Operations and Service. She is a graduate with a BS in Business Administration and an MBA in Financial Planning and Control from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Most recently, she was vice president and manager of M&T’s bank-wide infrastructure initiative.
