PRLog - Dec. 20, 2013 - SMYRNA, Del. -- For the past three years Mr. Alexander along with his loyal staff, not to mention his empowering relationship with his generous partners, have impacted not only the Claymont community but has reached as far as Chester, Philadelphia, Maryland, Shreveport, Arizona, Wilmington, Newark and Dover. Thanks to Ms. April Samuels, Director of the Smyrna Boys and Girls Club, Mr. Alexander can now impact the lives of those where he resides. The Giveaway will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Smyrna Boys and Girls Club located at 240 E. Commerce Street, Smyrna, DE 19977 .
Mr. Alexander is best known for his philanthropic efforts in assisting those in their most challenging times. His infamous words are "You will give up on yourself before we give up on you."
Mr. Alexander extends his appreciation to those who assisted in building our communities such as: K.I.D.S., Osh Kosh, Carters, Nike, Nautica, Toys for Tots, U.S. Polo Association, Perry Ellis, VF, Hanes, Skinny Jeans, Vans and Lee Jeans.
I recall speaking to Mr. Alexander and shared that the words that were spoken were great. His response to me was and I quote "Words without action are just words whether positive or negative. And that is the difference between yesterday and today."
