CARA is a fast, easy to use web user interface and business rules (configuration) engine for Documentum, Oracle WebCenter and Alfresco. It is designed to facilitate the creation, review, approval and management of documents. In additional to all the standard repository functionality of each platform, CARA provides performance enhancements, many additional functions and ergonomic improvements. The focus of CARA is on making it easy for users to find their content, work on it, and ensure that the system does not get in the way of them performing their job. With unique features like Dimensions, SnapLists, Widgets and Dashboards, a lot of information is on hand with a single click, and using the CARA Hub companies can connect to and integrate with other systems, allowing CARA to be the user interface to a variety of information sources at the back end.
Generis has just released version 3.6.1 of CARA, with over 200 enhancements and new features, including additional mobile application functionality.
