The mid-range Special Edition equips the Camry with Entune Audio Plus and a sunroof in addition to unique gauges, 18-inch wheels and Qi wireless smartphone chargers.
The XSE model takes the SE into a different direction than the Special Edition, adding LED running lights, a mix of leather and synthetic suede seating, heated front seating, and dual-zone climate control.
The top-of-the-line XLE trim takes the XSE features and then adds on the sport-tuned elements of the SE trim level and full leather upholstery.
Under the hood of the three lower trim levels is a 2.5L four-cylinder engine with 178 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, earning up to 35 highway mpg. Upgrading to the XSE or XLE adds on a 3.5L V6 engine with 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque, earning up to 31 highway mpg.
When it comes to safety, the Camry has earned some of the highest scores in the industry, including a Five-Star Overall Vehicle Safety Rating from the NHTSA and a Top Safety Pick+ award form the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
