PHILADELPHIA & WILMINGTON, Del. - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- Iconic Barbers is a national team of barbering professionals, shop owners and stylists who collectively make up an organization dedicated to the advancement of the industry by promoting and fostering education, professionalism and supreme business acumen. To kick off the New Year, Wanza Poole (Founder) and Craig “Skilz” (Co-founder) will represent the Iconic Barber team at this year’s International Salon & Spa Expo held in Long, Beach, CA from January 30 - February 1. This will be the team’s fifth year in a row attending one of the industry’s most well attended and publicized annual events hosted by the Professional Beauty Association (PBA).
The Iconic Barbers will be providing a hands-on experience at the expo on Sunday, January 30 from 10AM - 1PM on the 5 Steps to the Perfect Fade. This is an in-person classroom training session that costs $185 for PBA (Professional Beauty Association) members and $235 for non-members. Going beyond the basics of cutting and styling hair, the team will also incorporate business and entreprenuerial training in their signature 5 Steps to Iconic Barbering class, which is a complimentary education session available to registered attendees on Sunday, January 30 from 2PM - 3:30PM and on Monday, February 1 from 12PM - 1:30PM.
Also at this year’s expo, the team will introduce for the first time the start of a series of e-books that incorporate some of the training, education, information and resources that have only until now been made available exclusively in a classroom setting. Realizing the potential to expand their reach, the Iconic Barbers will be translating some of their training material into a series of e-books and potentially printed booklets for those audiences who are not able to attend events such as ISSE.
