U.S. Senate Candidate Allen Buckley Receives Major Endorsement

By: PRLog
ATLANTA - May 25, 2016 - PRLog -- Allen Buckley, the Libertarian Party of Georgia's U.S. Senate candidate for 2016, has received the endorsement of long-time Republican Joe McCutchen.

McCutchen said: "Our country has $19 trillion of debt. Johnny Isakson has voted for much of it. Thinking of what is best for our country and my children and grandchildren, I wholeheartedly endorse Allen Buckley in the U.S. Senate race in Georgia in 2016. Allen has been a good friend for many years, and he would never vote for an omnibus spending bill. He has, as his main priority, cutting spending and waste. He would vote much more conservatively than Johnny."

Mr. Buckley said: "I welcome the endorsement of Joe McCutchen. Joe has, for decades, been a crusader against the growth of debt and federal spending. He regularly calls C-Span, etc. regarding the federal debt situation. In my opinion, no person has done more to make people aware of the need to change course and get the federal finances under control."

Mr. Buckley was previously a candidate for the U.S. Senate in 2004 and 2008. In 2008, Mr. Buckley garnered 128,002 votes in the General Election, forcing a run-off between Saxby Chambliss and Jim Martin.
