ZTE to Boost Smartphone Performance with APUS

Partnership will start with ZTE shipping APUS Booster+ with smartphones

London, UK - January 20, 2017 - (Newswire.com)

ZTE, the fourth largest smartphone supplier in the U.S. and second largest in the no-contract market,* announced it will include APUS Booster+ on its smartphones over the next three years. ZTE is committed to adding more value, technology and ease of use to its products.

After extensively testing systems to further boost the performance of its devices, ZTE selected APUS Booster+ to deliver the best possible mobile experience. With one click, APUS Booster+ frees up memory by detecting and cleaning cache and other unnecessary files, leading to performance and battery improvements.

The first handset to ship with Booster+ installed will be the ZTE Blade V8 Pro, just announced at CES 2017. Year after year, ZTE consistently delivers even more choices of affordable premium phones, ensuring that consumers are able to purchase a quality, reliable and feature packed smartphone at a reasonable price.

Due to the way Android handles junk files and leftover APK files, Android users often find that their phones become slow over time. APUS Booster+ intelligently identifies files that are not needed or are causing system slowdowns and safely remove them. This leads to a performance improvement of up to 50% and can improve the mobile internet experience.

APUS Booster+ has been developed over the past two and a half years as part of APUS User System. APUS User System is a launcher designed to improve the usability and performance of Android devices. With huge growth in markets such as South Asia, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Russia, India and Brazil, APUS’ apps have acquired over one billion users globally - 70% of which are from developing countries. As a key part of the User System, APUS Booster has been optimized to deliver substantial performance improvements, particularly to the low-middle end mobile users.

For users who are running low on battery, APUS Booster+ can be used to quickly enable a powerful power saving mode that improves standby time by up to 50%, by closing background processes.

The cooperation between ZTE and APUS will see ZTE delivering its users with better tools, starting with APUS Booster+.  According to Tao Li, CEO and founder of APUS, ‘’the global cooperation with ZTE is focused on working together to optimize the experience for mobile users across the globe. APUS has seen huge growth, thanks to focusing on the real needs of users and provide a pioneering approach to using their smartphones. This is the first of many partnerships with manufacturers.’’
