Infrastructure ETFs stall as Trump plan moves to back burner

Exchange-traded funds tied to the infrastructure sector have struggled for direction since last year’s U.S. election, underperforming the broader market as investors grapple with two intertwined factors that could limit additional near-term gains: one, a big spending package has been expected for a while, which may indicate that any impact has already been priced in to shares; and two, no such deal is expected anytime soon.
