Prince Sultan bin Abduallah bin abdel aziz Al Saud is the youngest son of the late Saudi King Abduallah bin abdel aziz Al Saud, who was the sixth king of the Saudi Kingdom and passed away January 23, 2015 at the age of 90. Prince Sultan currently studies law at King Saud University, a public university in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and works in private business in addition to his work as an advisor for the Saudi government, a board member at the King Abdullah Foundation, and CEO of Alfa Imtiyaz holding company.
Prince Sultan believes the most significant political event recently was the peaceful transition in authority at the Saudi Kingdom after his father passed away, despite the troubled status in the Arab countries surrounding Saudi Arabia. He notes that he will never forget the way his late father King Abduallah bin Abdel Aziz Al Saud talked to Saudi Sheikhs about the danger of ISIS and their negative effect on the Arab world, proving that he had a true eye on the future. This forward long-term thinking is something Prince Sultan believes is missing in many of the Arab leaders today.
Prince Sultan believes the most significant political figures are his late father, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, and King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia from 1964 to 1975. In addition, he has great respect for Commander of the Faithful, Umar ibn Al-Khattab because he was not just a politician, but was fair — again something Prince Sultan believes is missing in politics today.
Born on Jan. 5, 1995, Prince Sultan’s mother is Princess Dr. Malka bint Saud bin zaid al jarba Al Choumri, and from both his parents, has one brother Prince Saad and one sister Princess Sahab, spouse of Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa. Early in his life, Prince Sultan was able to travel with his father, who was the main teacher in his life. He was taught lessons of generosity and to be a humanitarian. Prince Sultan believes his childhood was the best times he ever lived, even though he is sad he did not enjoy it as much as he’d like today.
“I did enjoy my childhood, yet did not soak it up. You never know what you have until it’s gone, so we should enjoy both today and prepare for tomorrow,” says Prince Sultan bin Abduallah bin abdel aziz Al Saud.
Prince Sultan is using his experience and expertise in the Arab world to help bring much-needed peace to the Middle East. For more information about the prince and his initiatives, visit Sultanbinabdullah.com.
