AMD keeps rolling out products as it gears up for semiconductor skirmish

AMD CEO Lisa Su and analysts have said throughout the summer that Advanced Micro Devices Inc. is poised to expand into new markets and directly compete with companies such as California-based Intel Corp. as it introduces a series of new products during the coming years. In the past four weeks, AMD has unveiled more products and tweaked a few others.
