Dollar softens slightly after post-Fed bounce

The U.S. dollar eased slightly Thursday, losing a touch of steam after a key gauge of the dollar’s performance jumped on the back of the Federal Reserve’s rate outlook and its plan to unwind its massive bond-buying program.
