COMING FRIDAY: Will P&G listen to Peltz?

When Procter and Gamble Co. reports earnings for the first quarter of the fiscal year on Friday, the results could buttress the contention of CEO David Taylor that he doesn’t need activist investor Nelson Peltz looking over his shoulder. But poor or mixed P&G results would increase the likelihood that Cincinnati hasn’t seen the last of the New York hedge fund manager who wants to shake things up.
