Despite Fed hikes, Columbus credit union freezes card rates for 100,000 members

Kemba Financial Credit Union says it is rolling back credit card rates to their 2017 levels and freezing them for its 100,000 members until the start of next year. That comes after the recent decision by the Fed to raise the federal funds rate a quarter point, to a range of 1.5 percent to 1.75 percent. And the Fed plans to raise rates another two or three times yet this year.
