SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Nov. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- "Nicolas Jung is an incredibly talented actor with energy and passion that is equaled by only a very few in the film business."
Those are the words of producer, director, actor and CEO of MO Entertainment, Al Burke. "There's a starring role sitting here waiting for him," Mr. Burke continued. "Nicolas will be playing the role of Zane Ryder in our action-adventure film 'Slow is Smooth; Smooth is Fast.'"
Mr. Burke was addressing a small group of film producer friends. He reiterated his conviction of the quality and commercial viability of the upcoming movie. He explained why South African actor Nicolas Jung is the "perfect person" to play the role of Zane Ryder.
"There's no one else who comes close to what Nicolas has shown us. He IS the character."
Most of the producers there had met Nicolas Jung. A few of them had been at the world premiere of one of Nicolas' films at Hollywood's famous Chinese Theater.
Al Burke looked around the room. "We're delaying the start date," he reported. The reaction was varied – raised eyebrows, a few whispered "no's," and even a small but audible gasp.
Mr. Burke explained. "Our South African star is currently in…" he paused as if he were on a game show building suspense, "…South Africa." He smiled. "Nicolas is working on a couple of projects there, and we're waiting for him to give us the date that he'll be back in the U.S. so we can announce our new shooting dates."
When told of Mr. Burke's remarks, Nicolas smiled. "I'm honored, and I'm touched. I can't wait to get back to the United States, to Hollywood, and the film sets," Nicolas continued. "I have a couple of projects to complete here before I can head back. And to work on 'Smooth' and the other film projects in the US requires a work visa. I'll be completing the projects here hopefully around the time that the paperwork is completed, and the visa is approved."
The fact that more than one production company is waiting for available dates from Nicolas speaks volumes as to the confidence Hollywood has in the actor who is "quite possibly the next mega-star out of South Africa!"
