In trading on Friday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 6.5%. Leading the group were shares of AK Steel Holding (AKS), up about 14.7% and shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals (NAK) up about 12.1% on the day.
