GE CEO says company needs to reduce debt "thoughtfully and soon"

General Electric Co is targeting dividend in line with peers and needs to reduce its debt "thoughtfully and soon", Chief Executive Officer Lawrence Culp said in a letter to shareholders on Tuesday.
