Raytheon reaffirms confidence in United Technologies tie-up

Two days after Connecticut-based United Technologies Corp. highlighted why the proposed merger with Raytheon Corp. makes financial sense, the Waltham defense contractor took a similar tack, reaffirming its confidence in the deal expected to close in the first half of 2020.
