Mexico shutters Smiths Medical plant making ventilators for U.S. market

The governor of the northern Mexican state of Baja California has ordered the closing of a factory owned by Plymouth, Minn.-based Smiths Medical, saying it was building ventilators for export that were needed to fight the spreading coronavirus in Mexico.
