Child prodigy Ebrahim Qureshi makes country proud by successfully clearing the tech giant's web development certification exam.
Mumbai, Aug 6, 2020 (Issuewire.com) - Ebrahim Qureshi an 8-year-old boy wonder and a grade 3 student, successfully cleared the Microsoft 98-383 exam and with that became the Youngest Microsoft Certified Web Developer (certificate number# H452-7951). He cleared the exam in his very first attempt. Although there are others who hold the youngest Microsoft professional title; Ebrahim is the youngest MTA to become a Microsoft Certified Web Developer.
He took 4 months to prepare for the exam. Ebrahim's approach was clear; he gave more importance to application usage than theory. He spent most of his time preparing for the exam by creating and designing web pages instead of memorizing concepts.
Ebrahim developed an interest in computers at a very young age and was amazed by some animations he saw on a random website. His father supported his curiosity and first taught him how to play with colours using HTML and CSS. He was immediately hooked and wanted to learn more. The first year while Ebrahim worked on his typing speed, he spent his time doing exercises on sites like w3school & FreeCodeCamp and creating simple forks on CodePen where he was not required to type too much using the keyboard. Within 1 year he managed to achieve speeds of 60 w.p.m. and started coding more efficiently on code editors.
He sincerely devotes an hour a day for coding practice and on weekends there is absolutely no studying for school or coding. Weekends are reserved by his parents for complete leisure time and Ebrahim spends it playing FIFA, watching cartoons, and enjoying other stuff that any other 8 year old would do. His parents insist that he already has a head start when it comes to learning computer languages and don't want him to spend too much time studying so that he does not miss out on simple things in life being a kid.
Ebrahim also excels in other activities and if you were to visit his school's (Seven Eleven Scholastic) Facebook page; he is regularly featured in the winners list and has won several prizes in Elocution, Talent Hunt, Sports, Drama, Recitation, Olympiads among others.
He is now on his way in learning and mastering different frameworks of JavaScript and loves creating small apps and games for practice.
