Georgia U.S. Senate Candidate Buckley Says The Difficult Times Make It Necessary To Elect Competent Leaders

ATLANTA, GA, August 19, 2020 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Allen Buckley, a fiscal conservative independent candidate in the special election race for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Kelly Loeffler, says the many problems facing the nation make it necessary to elect competent leaders. He believes that need is a key reason for his independent campaign.

The United States faces an incredible number of challenges, including a national debt that is leading the nation to a financial catastrophe, exorbitant health care costs, the coronavirus and civil unrest. Virtually all of the candidates running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Ms. Loeffler have taken no stance with respect to most of the problems. Raphael Warnock has absolutely nothing listed on his campaign website with respect to the issues and problems.

On his campaign website, Buckley covers all the major issues and provides solutions to the major problems. Buckley is an attorney/CPA with 35+ years of experience who is very knowledgeable about the finances of the federal government and many federal laws. Annually, Mr. Buckley writes and has published a book titled "Legal Handbook for Financial Planning in (year)." Among other things, it covers the federal tax and retirement systems, all major federal entitlements, college aid, and Obamacare. In 2017, he wrote and had published a lengthy article in Tax Notes magazine titled "Eliminating the Income Tax . . . While Balancing the Budget." The article explored all options for a different, simpler tax system, and ultimately recommending a better system. In 2009, he wrote and had published in Daily Tax Report an article regarding Social Security titled "Fixing Social Security: What is Fair and Practical?"

It is clear that the two major parties have sold out to special interest groups, including a dual sell-out to the drug industry and health insurance companies. That's a major problem.

Buckley said: "The time has come that we absolutely need to elect competent leaders who are free of special interest groups. We need leaders in Congress and the Administration who understand finance principles, economic principles and how the tax, health care and entitlements systems work. And, we need representatives who are independent of special interest groups. All candidates of the two major parties don't possess both of these two prerequisites to be a good candidate. I think I meet them. And, I think I'm the only candidate in the race who meets them. We've got serious problems. It's time for serious leadership."

Mr. Buckley's "Save Tomorrow" campaign is about living for today and tomorrow, instead of living for today to the detriment of tomorrow. The focus is on doing things to make tomorrow as good as or even better than today, by acting now to address the nation's financial challenges and confronting global warming in a practical way.
