Offset launches joint venture with axis replay to create artist driven live + virtual concert experience

ATLANTA - Sept. 10, 2020 - PRLog -- Axis Replay, an innovative events and entertainment company, partners with recording artist Offset to create a new kind of live and virtual production company.

As large-scale event promoters world-wide cancel plans into mid and late 2020, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has left many companies looking at how to realign their strategies for better consumer engagement. Axis Replay is filling the gap for the music and entertainment industries to transform live events into virtual experiences through recently produced hybrid events, which includes a virtual prom with actor and comedian Desi Banks, a virtual celebration of the Juneteenth Holiday with support from 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Invest Atlanta, and the Atlanta Esports Alliance, and virtual fundraising experiences for non-profits like American Cancer Society, Community, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and the HBCU Esports League.

The AXR+EXP Concert Series is a monthly concert series focused on empowering artists to own and navigate their own concert experiences. After the success of a concert event with recording artist YK Osiris in June 2020, Young knew they had the opportunity to help the music industry with a new kind of production.

"Artists do not want to perform in an empty room and a camera. A performance is only as good as the experience shared with fans. What people tend to forget after months of zoom meetings, hours on streams, and isolation is that fans want a connection," says Latabia Woodward, Business Manager of Offset, Rapper / Influencer / Gamer.

The AXR+EXP Concert Series will kick off with what Young states will be the new standard for live and virtual performances. This hybrid event will feature emerging artists on a rooftop performance at the CODA Building in Atlanta and will require the CDC recommendations for social distancing, temperature checks, and masks. Rapid COVID-19 testing will be available on site to screen all attendees to provide an extra layer of safety for the in-person gathering of less than 50 people.
