Terry Tibke, a writer, artist, GM, and voice actor, has announced an exciting new crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter for his latest project, Armageddon: Black Dawn, a full-cast audio drama depicted with professional voice acting and retro JRPG-style art. A game master since age 11, Tibke is bringing the talents of an international team to life to tell an engaging new fantasy story cast across the world of Armageddon, and inspired by hits like Critical Role, a show that changed that nature of RPG’ing for people worldwide.
In Armageddon: Black Dawn, listeners and viewers find themselves on a planet of feuding dragon tribes, where a young dragon rider named Turim Gliderlance must race to uncover the secrets to protecting his country. Turim finds help from the colorful folk of Ys, but each new civilian he drags into the war is another life in his hands. In the exciting episodic fantasy adventure, listeners and viewers watch as Turim questions his duty, and whether it is to put the protection of his country over the safety of individuals - his new friends.
Featuring talented voice artists and artists from around the world, the diversity in this project helps to bring it to life in rich detail. Episodes 1 – 4 are currently available to watch on YouTube, ranging from 15 and 20 minutes long, with the exception of episode 4’s 30-minute special. Music and sound effects have been hand-selected from royalty-free sources.
