Cuomo announces new travel rules for people visiting or returning to New York

As cases across the country rise, shielding New York from another large outbreak has become more complicated, particularly for businesses. The total number of states meeting the criteria for New York's travel quarantine list was at 45 as of Tuesday, including the neighboring states of Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. And based on the number of new coronavirus cases in New York on Friday, it would have likely met its own travel restriction requirements.
