Gov. Baker seeks to strike proposed facial recognition ban

Gov. Charlie Baker sought to strike a proposal that would have banned police departments and public agencies across Massachusetts from using facial recognition technology. Instead of signing a police reform bill, which included the proposal, into law, he is sending it back to the Legislature, asking lawmakers to make several key changes.
