Pioneering Diversity & Innovation Firm Culture Shift Labs Expands Racial Equality Work With Two New Board Members

Jill Ford and Caretha Coleman bring decades of experience, knowledge to board

HAMBURG, N.J. - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Two new members have been named to the advisory board of Culture Shift Labs, a pioneering management consulting firm focused on diversity and inclusion in corporate America.

Joining the 10-member Advisory Board are Jill Ford and Caretha Coleman. Ms. Ford is an investor and former principal with Toyota AI Ventures. As the Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship for the City of Detroit from 2014-2017, she served as Mayor Mike Duggan's Special Advisor to identify, design and lead the implementation of initiatives to attract and grow startups and small businesses. Her specialties include AI, robotics, and mobility, along with community development and innovative program design and execution. She holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Getting her start at Hewlett Packard, Caretha Coleman has spent 40 years in the technology industry working with start-ups and early-stage ventures in the areas of organizational strategy development and executive coaching and effectiveness. She served as Chief Human Resources Officer for Software Publishing Corporation where her leadership was instrumental in pioneering one of the first successful desktop computer software businesses. Ms. Coleman is Chairman of the board for Dignity Community Care and is a member of the board of The RealReal. She is an advisor to Illuminate – an early-stage VC firm focused on enterprise, cloud, and mobile computing – Launch with GS, and Culture Shift, and was a founding member of The Angels Forum. An advocate for women and minorities in business, Ms. Coleman has long demonstrated her commitment to mentoring young professionals and entrepreneurs across the country. She has been recognized as one of the Bay Area's most Influential Women by the San Francisco Business Times, as Outstanding Director by the Silicon Valley Business Journal and was named a Visionary Leader by the SF Chronicle for her work in diversity.
