Sydney, Australia - 25th July, 2022 - Alpha Car Hire have revealed the results of considerable investment in all facets of their business. Well established as one of Australia's premier budget car hire companies, Alpha Car Hire has been working hard to improve its services.
The new branding has been rolled out across the company, including new staff uniforms, new styling for the fleet and a new look for the interiors and exteriors of the depots. The colours chosen for the rebrand are bright purple with highlights of turquoise.
The website has been significantly redesigned to make it more accessible and easier to use and to give it a fresh and vibrant look. 'We are stepping up a notch with our new look," says Magdalena Kusyk, Chief Marketing Officer of Alpha Car Hire. "We want to offer new ways for our customers to interact with us and provide a clear brand identity. Our main goal though is to make it as easy as possible for customers to find and book affordable car hire that fits their needs."
As part of the new roll-out, Alpha Car Hire is offering more booking options. They now have three new ways to make payments: paying immediately with a 10% discount, paying over the phone with a 5% discount, and paying later. "As part of the upgrade we have improved the ways we engage with our customers. At the end of the day the main thing we want is happy customers. As well as streamlining the website we have increased our social media presence and output as that is an increasing method people use in the present day," Magdalena Kusyk told us. "We also welcome customers with an email containing promotions and discounts. We are also offering more deals on the website in our quest to give our customers the best possible deals."
The pandemic was a difficult time for the tourism industry. Still, Alpha Car Hire took the opportunity to inspect all areas of their company and analyse how and where they could improve. The first round of investment was in the fleet, with over two-thirds of their vehicles being replaced and the rest overhauled and upgraded. A new branch was opened at Sydney Airport, joining the depots in Brisbane, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.
Tourists are now starting to return to Australia. The latest figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics show that tourist arrivals in Australia increased to over 231000 in May 2022, and the trend is for the figures to increase dramatically. The top three countries tourists arrived from were New Zealand, the UK and India. Analysis shows that an increasing number are actively planning to visit Australia over the next six months. Figures supplied by MP Dan Tehan show that the Australian Government is also providing $146.5 million to support the tourism industry and to develop long-term strategies to grow and rebuild the visitor economy. Since March 2020, the Government has provided more than $20 billion in assistance to the tourism and hospitality sector. This is welcome news for everyone working in the tourism industry, including Alpha Car Hire.
"We aim to do everything we can to get our customer's holidays off to the best possible start," said Magdalena Kusyk. "We have shuttles that meet the flights and take our clients to their cars as fast as possible. Our staff are highly trained and we pride ourselves on being welcoming, friendly and helpful. This is reflected in the overwhelmingly positive feedback and reviews we receive."
In a speech on 21st June 2022, Patrick Gorman MP, Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister, gave assurances that the new Government is committed to Australia's visitor economy recovery and is working to ensure the sector returns to the growth and vitality it enjoyed the past. "Our tourism industry sells the best of Australia," he said. "The industry is led by some of the best entrepreneurs in Australia. And some of our most passionate Australians. As we all know, the travelling experience has changed a lot recently. Across the country, businesses have worked extraordinarily hard to deal with everything the pandemic has thrown at them. And the tourism industry has some of the most inspiring responses."
Alpha Car Hire counts itself among these passionate entrepreneurs, and its response to the pandemic has been to work hard to upgrade its business. The result of their industry and investment can clearly be seen, and they look forward to sharing their improvements with their customers.
