S&P cuts banks on regulation, profit concerns

Standard & Poor’s downgrades some of the largest U.S. banks because the industry will face tighter regulation and could be less profitable in the future. The downgrades coincide with President Obama's proposal to overhaul regulatory oversight of the nation's financial system.
